Canstruction is a trademarked event of the design, architecture and engineering industries produced under the auspices of the Society for Design Administration (SDA). Canstruction Toronto is organized by the SDA, with the assistance of Consulting Engineers of Ontario (which represents 200 engineering companies) and the Design Exchange (a museum dedicated to design excellence and heritage).
To gather food donations and raise public awareness to fight hunger and poverty, placing the spotlight on design, architecture and engineering firms giving back to the communities that they helped to build.
To engage, amaze and inspire professionals and their communities to work together on a competition that collects food donations to feed thousands of people, reducing hunger locally.
